Which Middle Earth people would you most like to have a feast with?

From the movies and trailers, we've gotten at least a look at the food of all these people. And then there's the books.

So in the spirit of Thanksgiving, which is coming up in a couple days in America, which people would you most like to have a meal with?

all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us...

It's a party at Meduseld!

I don't think the Elves would take to dancing on the tables.

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..."
Dwarves: "Pretty rings..."
Men: "Pretty rings..."
Sauron: "Mine's better."

First Age Elves

They got a bit boring by the time of the Third Age.

so I'd be right there with you, Ataahua Wink

(not the first time I've thought that a night on the town with you would be awesome fun)

Feast

Actually I would like to feast with all these peoples that are given as options above! To choose but one, it was hard but it had to be narrowed down to the Elves and the Rohirrim. My vote was finally for the people of Rohan and their merry feats with good food, music, and ale!

Hobbits wouldn't look down upon my endless appetite

Guys always get to eat as much as they want, but when I have healty appetite for delicious food it's off putting. If we ever learned anything from Gone with the Wind, it's that girls eat like birds!

But every word you say today
Gets twisted 'round some other way
And they'll hurt you if they think you've lied

Dwarves

At least there's lots of food, singing and beer involved.CoolI'd love to try to drink a Dwarf, under the table and listen to great epic battles, they've been in.Dwarves, are most hardy folk after all and they travel far, that is until they turned to greed and stayed underground.Wink

Hobbits, of course!

They know how to eat well, but we might not be having just one Thanksgiving meal, nor many leftovers...

An eclectic group.

Finrod, Folgolfin, Turin, Hurin, Beren, Melian, Gandalf, Elros, Maglor, Galadriel and Cirdan.

I have some questions for each of you!

The Silvan elves

The elves of Thranduil's kingdom seem to have known how to throw a party! The only problem would be trying not to end up like the dwarves and get accused of "molesting" them and thrown in an elf-prison.

This raises the question of how exactly one would show up at a woodland feast without prompting a disappearing act...

I'd have to say Hobbits...

Lots of great food and several meals, tons of Ale, and much merriment!...Plus there's plenty of leaf to go around! That's the clincher for me! Although I'd very much like to endulge in some of that Dorwinion wine I think I'd feel a little out of place amongst elves and much more comfortable around Hobbits.

The Hobbits of course!

People that in love with eating gotta know how to feast!

-Tim came by. Tim! If you had heard only a quarter of what I have heard about him, and I have only heard very little of all there is to hear, you would be prepared for any sort of remarkable tale.
