Poll: The obligatory Denny's poll. Denny who? 14 / 23% I really need to do some deep soul searching first. 4 / 7% I'm not thrilled with them, but will give them this one last chance to redeem themselves. 3 / 5% The food is crappy and so is the service. No way. 5 / 8% Definitely.  6 / 10% If PJ chokes down a meal, so can I. 3 / 5% I really don't want to put myself through this again. 1 / 2% I eat there at least once a week. Why not? 2 / 3% I'll go, but only if they give me a toy (dirt doesn't count). 1 / 2% I don't eat out much. Very unlikely that I will go. 9 / 15% I don't eat out much, but I will make an exception for this. 6 / 10% Whoever made this decision should be fired. 6 / 10% 60 total votes

Most are based on personal experience at Denny's restaurants, as was mine. Will you go to Denny's for a delicious Hobbit meal? The manager and waitstaff like to joke around with the customers, and I've never gotten a bad meal at this particular one. And it's right on the access road to the mall which has our favorite stadium-seating movie theater...so we've had plenty of meals there, both before and after movies. Some of the links, however, are weaker than others. Ours is a weak link. If grease is you thing, it is the place. We have eaten in Denny's that were clean and the food quite good. So, I don't know yet if we will go just to get some trading cards and a tummy ache!

I don't go there often and will not be making special trips just for this but I won't avoid it should there be a reason to go. It seems that the quality varies quite a bit from place to place. Around here, it's a step up from fast food but not a destination restaurant. So I guess my vote is "none of the above" Silverlode

I should have added that selection. Out of curiousity, I will go and try one of these meals. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. Previous experience suggests otherwise, but I will keep an open mind.
