Problems with the forum?
Is anyone else having problems loading the forum today? Or is it just me?

I'm not having problems at the moment...
...but for a few minutes last night, the TORn server was down, according to my computer's browser!

I wonder if it's related?

It's working fine for me now.
Since about midday (BST) until 4ish, it was really patchy. I could only get on for a couple of minutes before it died.

I've noticed
for the past few weeks or so, that the board slows somewhat around midnight EST. I always figured it's for maintenance or something because traffic is usually not high.

Sorry, I meant it was down for long periods. But when I could get on, it was for minutes, before going down again.

I clicked 'reply' to a post
and it filled in the subject line with 're:' and the same subject line as the post I was replying to.

That was the default setting for the forum when it was first set up and it was changed pretty quickly.

I think it posted okay but then I couldn't enter any forum. I could go to Edit Profile and Your Messages. (although I didn't try to do anything in those areas.

Now the forums and the site has gone down again for me. I'm typing in my compose window with minimal expectations that this will ever go through! :-P

well... it's loading again so here goes nothing

Seems to have resolved itself once I've got back home!
I had pages of code appear. And all the times had gone wibbly. Everyone's avatar was missing!

Routine maintenance
Corvar was doing some maintenance under the hood. I think most of it was recently (like, this afternoon), so not sure it was the cause of your problem.

Everyone keep reporting any other problems you encounter, but things should be back to normal now. Smile

I have for the past 3-4 days. *slow burn*
I keep changing the defaults, and sometimes it helps. It's not just TORn, though it is where I have the most issues.

Anyone notice any sunspots lately?
