Where were these really taken? I must say, they sure seem to feel very Tolkien-esque! In the movies Elrond, Denethor, Haldir, Galadriel, and Celeborn stink.
I am glad you like them. I kind of find photos on Google Images and if I think they could be a bit ME, I mess about with Photoshop until they look very vaguely as I imagine ME. The originals could be from anywhere in the world. The Old Forest ones are from Washington State for example, and the Mirrormere one is from Italy, anyway it gives me pleasure doing them, I have never trained in Photoshop or anything, I am just a very amateur tweeker.
I did a blog about El Camino de Santiago comparing some spots to Middle Erarth, it would be nice if you take some of those photos and do your potohop magic with them The flagon with the dragon has the brew that is true!
I would really like to do El Camino de Santiago, it looks like a life changing thing to do. Its more of a spiritual Quest than finding Rings and dragons, but one day maybe I will try. I would love to try to make one of your photos like ME, but your photos are probably better.
It was quite some Quest.
