More Lord of the Rings LEGO Details from Toy Fare 2012

As promised, here's a bit of a follow-up (Early Gallery) on some of the materials that were given out concerning the upcoming The Lord of the Rings LEGO Collection. In this post you will find an image, title, description and price for the initial six sets, as well as the Target exclusive set. While you may notice the photos that accompany the descriptions say 'Confidental' on them, we are pretty sure after this morning they are no longer top secret. (LEGO, feel free to tell us otherwise! Hah) These seven sets will complete the entire The Lord of the Rings offering for 2012. If additional sets are created, they will be announced around February 2013 - you know, around the time of our next Oscar party! And of course there will be Hobbit based LEGO sets coming out in near the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey - December 2012. prices

It's been years since I've gotten any big LEGO sets...have they always been so expensive?

$130 for that Helm's Deep set seems a little ridiculous. From what I remember, larger sets were $70-$80 max...but of course that was ten years ago.

You should see the dollar value on some of the Star Wars UC editions (Ultimate Collectors)!
