And I love how Hobbity GDT looks :) Peter has worked so long and hard for this. I'm delighted that his dedication and fortitude has paid off. *bows to the master*

MGM's press release says so too. [In reply to] Can't Post

"Del Toro will move to New Zealand for the next four years to work with Jackson and his Wingnut and WETA production teams. He will helm the two films back to back – telling the story of “The Hobbit,” and its sequel, which will deal with the 60-year period between 'The Hobbit' and 'The Fellowship of the Ring,' the first of the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy." Trees [In reply to] Can't Post

Your perceptions of trees are accurate, Sunflower. Never stifle them. Never deny them. Keep right on doing what you do.

7 blockbusters [In reply to] Can't Post

in the fan base of one. Jackson no doubt paved the way for HP; in production efficiency anyhow. Now HP has done it's part by proving the power of "outright fantasy" in theaters. Unless THE HOBBIT and THE HOBBIT RETURNS bomb to the core of Middle Earth, we can bet our hairy feet we'll see the rest of Tolkien translated to the silver screen. But is that a bad thing?
