Thanks for finding it. [In reply to]

I have saved it to re-read it.
First reaction:
Thranduil, faced with a troop of dwarves in obvious need, chucks them straight in the dungeons because he happens to think they look a bit suspicious. Contrast this with Celeborn's behaviour to Gimli and (though the same theme is apparent) Celeborn comes out looking remarkably restrained and moderate.

Oh yeah, well Celeborn was faced with ONE dwarf, our great king, had to deal with a squadron of dwarves. He may have sensed the headaches and messes they left Lord Elrond facing in Rivendell.

Please call me, Cassie.

Dwarves leaving a mess [In reply to]

Not to mention the clogged plumbing poor Lindir had to take care of after they left Rivendell. I can toots understand the reaction of our Great Elven King Heart

PS have you read the article of the same author on the possible relation between the Cad and His Fabulousness? I think Lurker or BlackFox mentioned it somewhere in this thread. I can't find it anymore. Too much to go through as it is and I keep hitting the floor as the Pretty! continues to hit me.

     Try this [In reply to]

Ok, I'm using Firefox, but it should work with other browsers just the same.

Right click on the pic, then click on "page/site information" (IDK the exact wording for english user language) - a window opens- there you click on 'media', and a list with all the media shown on the site appears, search for the file that starts with "http://img. ..." and click 'save as'.

Hope this helps. Smile

     Thanks, V [In reply to]

Great reading on, Celebron. Those dwarves were not really liked back in the day were they. And from the reading yes it seems like he has a lot in common with Thranduil but I did thought I read that Thranduil moved his people from Celebron and Galadriel because of them being tied to Middle Earth.

he had bigger feet, he'd have even longer hair.

But you must confess it gives a good excuse to stare at his pictures, for science purpose, to see if this is correct. Wink
