I think the Numenoreans were called similar by many peoples, possibly Ghan too. I was thinking of a more personal name that Ghan called the people of Minas Tirith - "Stonehouse Folks"

And he hates them both. When Aragorn and Co. take the Paths of the Dead, they enter the haunted mountain. What's it's name? Bonus points if you can name the entrance AND the mountain itself.

I know it has another name (starting with a D, if I'm not mistaken), but I can't remember it. The entrance is called the Gate of the Dead. Next question: how was Baldor related to Eorl the Young?

Dimholt is the entrance, the actual mountain is called the Dwimorberg. Was he Eorl grandson?

The entrance is also called the “Dark Door”. I think Baldor was the dead guy they found in the Paths of the Dead? What was the group name for those who entered the Paths of the Dead? And what time of day did they get to the Hill of Erech?

So good I had to plagiarize a Whoot! On what month and day did Gandalf return to life on Zirak-zigal? (hint) It's a celebrated day in the U.S.

July 4th? I never realised the actual date is recorded. What is the name of the long oval lake after you pass the Dimrill Gate? The Dwarves call it Kheled Zaram?

Or I guess you already did? Do you have Valentine's Day in your neck of the woods?? Faramir, it's in appendix - Tale of Years. Anyone - How many in Eomer's eored when they accosted the Three Hunters? "Aid me or thwart me, choose swiftly!"

The way I worded the question the answer is 105. Legolas sees 105 plus 2 empty saddles. And 15 men were killed battling the orcs. So Eomer’s original eored had 120. But I believe an eored can be most any size as the Rohirrim split into 3 or 4 on the Pelennor of a couple thousand each. In case I forget here's for Valentine's Day. Isn't it interesting that Gandalf comes to life on this day. I'm sure Tolkien was aware....
