Unintentionally funny scenes in the Hobbit movies, so far.

Did anyone find any scenes humorous, when they were meant to be serious. Here are mine. 1.When Gandalf is trapped in the cage, in DOS i couldn't help but chuckle because he always seems to get trapped somewhere, when war is brewing.lol 2.After Thranduil beheads the orc, he swings his sword around, like some power ranger. lol 3.When the Dragon awakes from his slumber as he begins sliding down through the gold, you see Bilbo leaning down trying to ignore it.lol could cut the te

especially when it looks like she's doing something that one would not normally see in a PG movie But I would say the bit when Smaug wakes up and Bilbo sort of crouches down is intentionally funny rather than unintentionally. Martin Freeman just does it so well.

I do agree, but you could cut the tension with a knife. It really felt serious and funny at the same time.I was worried for Bilbo in that scene and kind of scared/laughing lol.

The second time I saw DoS, I noticed that after arguing with Bard Thorin walked up a few steps so he'd be the same height as Bard, and I thought that was pretty funny. RA said the dwarves do things to try and make themselves look bigger, I guess that was one of them.

Kids: The dragon will kill us! :'( Bard: *serious face* *camera zooms in* Not if I kill it first. Thranduil's OTT thuper thantastic thabulousness. Some of Orlando Bloom's melodramatic line delivery.

I didn't even think anything kinky or dirty with the healing scene until you dirty beggers brought it up Uhm hmmm... YES! I dunno if it was unintenionally or not, but when Thorin's on fire and screams and rolls around he's SUDDENLY up on his feet and all "Let's go!" it looks so stupid hahah I love it though. "Not if I kill it first" was rather corny. I have to admit even though I don't hate on Orlando that there was some line and facial expression in Lake Town (I think it was when Bolg left) that was laughable.

I laughed or found something funny (when it seemed like I shouldn't) was the healing scene. The first time I saw it I didn't see anything "dirty" at all, I just thought her slowed down movements and speech were so funny in and of themselves. That said, I saw the movie again a few days ago and I can understand how people have come away with...erm, other thoughts ...but that's not why I found it funny. Actually, when I saw it last week, someone in the theater actually laughed when Kili fell down the stairs (when he's holding the weapons) I have no idea how someone found that humorous.
keep smiling

I can totally see this line becoming his "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!" counterpart of this trilogy.

I don't know if that was the intent, but I kinda love it. How he's almost roasted alive, just stands up and says "Alrighty then".

first Gollum answering the eggs riddle I laugh every time because it looks like he's trying to use the bathroom I'm very tempted to put sound effects over that scene lol Bilbo saying "I believe the worst is behind us" I want to say that the two shots of Gollum trying to answer the teeth riddle and the egg riddle was just WETA showing off how great they made Gollum look in this movie and he did look amazing I forget he's CGI everytime I see it

as the Joker said "It's all part of the plan" Gandalf always intended to get captured, He could have ran if he wanted to but he needed to be captured so it would make the white council spring into action cause nothing was going to happen as long as Saruman kept denying anything was happening there maybe we'll see Saruman and Radagast interact in TABA cause of this, it would be a funny scene Radagast burst in and says "Gandalf's in trouble" and Saruman says "have you been eating mushrooms again?" lol

Though I think I'm the only one who laughed both viewings in the theater... Also forgot to add to my above post: Legolas pirouetting on the dwarf heads. Good lord. Also, Orlando is what I call an eye actor because he always squints his eyes as a reaction to something in his movies. Or makes weird faces. He did it when Thranduil beheaded the orc, and when he looks after Bolg when he feels his nose bleeding. (P.s. I don't hate Legolas at all, he's just so corny)

Happy Ending (you know what I am talking about) are the first things that sprang to mind as funny where funny wasn't the motive. especially when it looks like she's doing something that one would not normally see in a PG movie But I would say the bit when Smaug wakes up and Bilbo sort of crouches down is intentionally funny rather than unintentionally. Martin Freeman just does it so well. "Hear me, hounds of Sauron, Gandalf is here! Fly if you value your foul skins, I will shrivel you from tail to snout if you step within this circle!" "Do not be to eager to deal out death in judgement. Even the very wise cannot see all ends."

...when Thranduil is speaking with Thorin in his throne room and he shows him the scars on his face. Thranduil leans over so awkwardly and turns his head at the strangest angle and his facial expression, I literally laughed out loud. It is such a serious part of the movie so I felt kind of bad lol.

.. but I always smile at the look on Bilbo's face when Gandalf tells Thorin on the way into Rivendell that 'the only ill will to be found in this valley is that which you bring yourself.' In between Gandalf saying it and Thorin's reaction they cut to Bilbo and his expression is priceless.
