I quite agree [In reply to] Can't Post

and IMO Erebor should not appear to be a large as Pellinor Fields either there will be different elements to the battle but it shouldnt appear grander than one of the largest battles in the 3rd age of middle earth Wink

I wouldn't mind seeing Beorn turn up with more bears [In reply to] Can't Post

I have often thought that having Beorn been such a decisive factor by himself is a bit much, but if this was simply symbolic of many more bears turning up then it would be much more believable. In fact, I wouldn't mind Trolls turning up either, and maybe a fight between the two. Now that might be interesting!

I actually wouldn't mind Bolg [In reply to] Can't Post

Having Troll body guards instead of them being other Orcs. Then it would be easier for them to be massive sized and not make them seem like super orcs

But probably not with a cameo by Miley Cyrus. / [In reply to] Can't Post

******************************************
Once Gandalf dreamt he was a moth, a moth flitting and fluttering around, happy with himself and doing as he pleased. He didn't know he was Gandalf. Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakably Gandalf. But he didn't know if he was Gandalf who had dreamt he was a moth, or a moth dreaming he was Gandalf. Between Gandalf and a moth there must be some distinction! But really, there isn't, because he's actually Olórin dreaming he's both Gandalf *and* a moth!

Well said [In reply to] Can't Post

"After all, I believe that legends and myths are largely made of 'truth', and indeed present aspects of it that can only be received in this mode; and long ago certain truths and modes of this kind were discovered and must always reappear." Professor Tolkien, 1951
