I wrote a poem about that about a year ago, actually.

It was about a year ago that Jupiter and the Moon were last dancing around each other in the sky and it inspired me to write the following little poem: nightfire disc of fire, burning bright, in a hazy sky this night, encircled by a wispy halo of the palest blue, you may be but a satellite, formed of rock and reflected light, but you have captured the king of the gods and made him yours tonight. © 2011 Cassander Also inspired somewhat by a nice photograph of the two, which I've paired with the poem here: http://cassander42.deviantart.com/art/nightfire-268198173 I must say I've been noticing them doing their dance again this year.
all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us...
