Best place to sit in cinema

I'm going to get my tickets online for The Hobbit today, and I'm not sure what is the best seat since the best seats in my opinion have been occupied. I'm worried that if I sit further to the right or left that I will have to turn my head and have neck pain throughout the movie.I took a snapshot of the seats layout and I would highly appreciate if someone would suggest me the best possible ones. Thanks. http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/7647/capturends.jpg The red marked seats are the ones that I chose but haven't bought yet so you can see them. The grey ones are the ones that are already bought.
Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.

That would depend on multiple factors

Such as screen size and the positioning of the speakers. The safest bet is usually dead center of the theater. Personally I like to sit in the back row, I will sacrifice a tiny bit of audio/video clarity to avoid having an annoying person behind me.

I love sitting in the middle rows. dead in the center... but unfortunately I can't (and I know my first time being so nervous) hold the bathroom for the two hours and forty minutes... So my first viewing I will probably sit at the end seat.. but still in the middle of the theater.

I like to sit about 3/4 of the way back and as close to center of the row as possible.

I don't like being too close, and you usually get teenagers sitting at the back. I have to change my ticket though. My cinema is HFR, but not for the first screening!

That sounds pretty stupid. Ok another question. I hear lots of people saying they're purchasing seats. Your tickets actually tell you where you have to sit? In America (or at least every theater I've ever been to) you just buy your tickets and sit in what's available. It's first come first served basically.

Yes, when you book online you usually can pick your seats too.

I much prefer this of course, as we don't have to get in line early for things. I'd be a nervous b*tch if I had to go to a movie (or get on a long distance train) without knowing that I'll be having a decent seat. For my 1st AUJ screening I chose dead center, which happened to be row 13, seat 13. Edit: my reply goes for Germany btw. But England was the same when I was there.

Will they just let you exchange them you think? Or pay the difference? I think it maybe makes sense for them to assign seats, but at any big events like that that I've been to, people pretty much understand that they have to sit by strangers

I've always just showed up and had to pick what was left. Though, I'm one of those that likes to arrive early in case. So it normally turns out fine.

Why don't you keep your good seats and see it in 2D first?

Or is it Britain? I get confused Anyway, it is the 12th, 13th, or 14th? I was thinking you get it earlier than we do here.

It was the 14th, and then it was bought forward to the 13th

And they made all this fuss about changing the premiere for Les Mis! And because I love geography: The UK refers to Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland. Great Britain is the same but excluding Northern Ireland. And the British Isles is everything including Republic of Ireland. Very confusing! Why do we need so many?

Good grief that's complicated. But I think all I was referring to was England.

is queen of what exactly? And how can England be one of four countries but not be a country?

England is a country within the British isles.I am English first then British. When I am asked what country I was born in I say the great country of England. The Welsh, the Scots & some of the Irish would say the same about their home country.

is the middle of the middle. For me i feel the cinema is set up for this to be the best seat. If one goes to a cinema where you can reserve the seats then this perfect seat can be achieved - otherwise get there about 3 days early, lol.

I don't have tickets I'm looking for someone to go to the midnight showing that doesn't have either school or work in the morning (or children to take care of!). I didn't realize people had priorities other than The Hobbit!

I can't imagine how the system that is standard in the US would work here! I am used to recerved seating. I purchased my AUJ tickets for the midnight screening and I know now 5 days ahead of it exactly where I'll sit, and I'm comfortable with that
The greatest adventure is what lies ahead.
