And also DanielLB is, of course, Tolkien himself.

The wolves look like the dogs/wolves from nazi zombies *in the face*- the side game in call of duty . Very similar - finally figured out where i had seen them before!

the characters look better on the shirts than they do in the trailer? If they can make them look this good on film I might relax a bit...

The ones on the shirts are most likely concept art

This is the best view of the wargs that I have seen. They look really scary here. The reflective eyes add to the spookiness. Thanks for pointing these out.

Is it just me, or does this guy look an awful lot like some of these new goblin designs?

And in that case, I bet it's not just a weird coincidence.

But it's funny sometimes when there is so much random merchandise with 'The Hobbit' on it (like earlier mentioned bedclothes). I can't help but wonder if Tolkien would have liked to wear Hobbit shirts and have a Hobbit blanket draped over his head.
'I will take it! I will take the Ring to Mordor- though, I do not know the way...' 'I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!'

And concept art often looks a lot better than the final designs. I love the concept art for the Star Wars prequels, for example, and generally hated the look of all three films...

'What are we holding on to, Sam?' 'There's good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fighting for!' 'I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you!'

Celebrimbor: "Pretty rings..." Dwarves: "Pretty rings..." Men: "Pretty rings..." Sauron: "Mine's better." "Ah, how ironic, the addictive qualities of Sauron’s master weapon led to its own destruction. Which just goes to show, kids - if you want two small and noble souls to succeed on a mission of dire importance... send an evil-minded b*****d with them too." - Gandalf's Diaries, final par, by Ufthak. that the Warg that leads the attack near Moria in FotR is a werewolf. Sauron himself was a werewolf when he was Morgoth's sidekick. Tolkien seems to have werewolves pegged as a form of fallen Maia, like balrogs, rather than human skin changers. He never calls Beorn a werebear.
