Does this mean we may get other BIG announcements on these boards? . . . "D" must be for The Life and Times of Dora Baggins! Love that!! Tee hee. Obviously you have to stack up work in advance. Must be normal in the movie industry I guess :) Best wishes!

Perhaps the retelling that Guillermo del Toro has both produced and penned, or should we say "co-carded" the script with Matthew Robbins? Should be close, if not already wrapped and into post now with a 2010 release. Demons and GDT...should be interesting. Can't wait! If he has some secret energy drink, perhaps he'll share with us all. The man is going non-stop. Good luck!

I would hate to even hazzard a guess. As it sounds as though it's something you're happy about, I'll send along congratulations under that assumption! *cheers*
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Aragorn threw back his cloak. The elven-sheath glittered as he grasped it, and the bright blade of Andúril shone like a sudden flame as he swept it out. “Elendil!” he cried. “I am Aragorn son of Arathorn, and am called Elessar, the Elfstone, Dúnadan, the heir of Isildur Elendil’s son of Gondor. Here is the Sword that was Broken and is forged again! Will you aid me or thwart me? Choose swiftly!” TTT, Book III, Chapter 2 And Éomer answered: “Since the day when you rose before me out of the green grass of the downs I have loved you, and that love shall not fail.” RotK, Book VI, Chapter 5

I read somewhere in the trade the GDT was going to make Dan Simmons' DROOD into a movie. This book is ENORMOUS and a fantastic yarn about Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins....fiction and fact woven together beautifully. I hope that DROOD is the mysterious..."D". peace-out, Kelly

see that coming. Although there was a moment of whimsy, after hearing that Disney bought Marvel ($4B?) last week, that I thought this would bring a whole new breed of directors under the mouse eared cap (Kevin Smith?) Congratulations G!
