Also interesting is the contrast of her constant motion against the stillness of Thranduil, who she is trying to move, without success of course. This is in itself a great contrast against his behavior in the earlier audience with Thorin where the roles were somewhat reversed. And of course Tauriel doesn't have the awesome majesty of the King's tempestuous grandeur. She is just more earthy/rustic and more direct. I like this thought! It's also kind of indicative of their respective philosophies, isn't it? She's raring to go do something in regards to the evil in the world, and he's determined to stay put. Also interesting that Tauriel has to come to him...he's firmly established in his own chambers.
