can anyone confirm this is authentic?

I was perusing ebay looking for Tolkien goodies and came across this:

http://www.ebay.com/...id=p3984.m1423.l2649

Now, I know similar coins have been minted for the Hobbit - in fact I was lucky enough to win one in a contest/giveaway hosted here on TORN. It was a silver coin with Bilbo on it made to commemorate AUJ. Can anyone confirm New Zealand had a similar commemoration of LOTR, ROTK, etc? I guess my question is, is this coin an official New Zealand thing or just a commercial item?

If anyone could find me any background info about this coin, that would be much appreciated.
