We typically don't over-parse our discussions

and avoid a "gotcha" mentality. If you think anyone, including a moderator, is violating our Terms of Service, you're welcome to contact the site owners or another moderator.

As Altaira said, we are who we are, and there are many who appear to agree with what we're doing. It's not possible to appeal to every Tolkien fan, but there's lots of space on the internet for fans to find a home that suits them. If it's TORN, that's great, but if not, it's great that Tolkien fans can find their own place that's comfortable for them. We won't change who we are in a futile attempt to meet everyone's definition of what it means to be a Tolkien fan.
