I actually wasn't being ironic. Being a guy, I never considered the attractiveness of the actors in my list. I guess Colin is a handsome guy, so I can see your point. But would you still feel attracted to him once he has a wig of curly, messy hair, pointy ears, and hairy feet? I know he usually plays a very proper, civilized character, but I can picture him being slightly absurd, as you say. Did you see the scene in Bridget Jones 2 where he fights with Hugh Grant? Very absurd and absolutely hilarious. Once I picture him with a few more pounds and a rounder belly, I can imagine him in the role. Maybe my imagination is too much today. But nonetheless, I see your point and I appreciate it. I don't like it when Hollywood gets gorgeous actresses to play characters that aren't supposed to be gorgeous (or don't have to be for the story).
