Those of you who have been to ORC and ELF conventions and DragonCons, will recognize Anne as an accomplished author, a favorite panelist and speaker, and dear friend of TORn. Here is a message she sent for the occasion:
Message from Anne Petty
"Ten years, eh? The TORn site and the people associated with it are unique and wonderful, and my friendship with all of you has been fruitful and a total blast - ahhh, Dragon*Con! Live long and prosper!"
She also sent along this update which I thought I'd share with everyone:
"I've managed to get some writing done in the past year. My chapter "The Evolution of Glaurung and Smaug" will be included in Good Dragons Are Rare: An Inquiry into Literary Dragons East and West, edited by Drs. Fanfan Chen and Thomas Honegger, ALPH No. 5, published by Peter Lang: Frankfurt, Berlin etc., 2009, 460 pages. My latest short story, "The Veritas Experience," was published Feb. 16, 2009, by Absent Willow Review."
Wishing you continued success, Anne!
