Thanks for the comfort here.

I'm a frequent member of another Tolkien related blog where most of us discussed very passionately at times how the plot of the Hobbit could be turned into adequate movie scenes. I guess in all our enthusiasm about the films we probably got a bit carried away. So in the end most of us - including myself - were really disappointed after the live chat because most of our personal questions were neither picked up nor really answered.

Well, I'm still glad that the fans here can be involved anyway. Maybe we easily forget the tough circumstances about modern film-making, especially when the Hollywood industry is involved...

(but hey, if New Line/ Warner Bros. interfere too much with Peter Jackson's and Guillermo del Toro's admirable visions, these great directors should just get rid of Hollywood. If all the world-wide fans would make financial contributions, this big project could be independent - sorry, getting carried away again).
