1. Bilbo and Gandalf travel home.
(not from the appendices - no text - a drabble)
...Even though Bilbo was anxious to rest in the familiar comfort of his own home, he agreed with Gandalf it would be wise to stop for the night. Their ponies were moving slowly under their burden of the chests of gold, silver, and other treasures accumulated during the journey. They passed the fields where the trees of Woody End could be seen in the distance and finally came to Frogmorton. It was decided they should spend the night at The Floating Log and begin fresh in the morning travelling the remaining long miles to Hobbiton and at last Bag End.
We have been there and back again.
