I'm thinking we need an army of Ents to help reinforce our many large, mature trees, most still hanging onto their leaves. I have been bargaining with the very tall oak (including my neighbor's massive old oak), maples, and pines in my yard and otherwise cajoling them to just shed leaves, small twigs, and branches when the winds are in full force tomorrow. Batteries at the ready...
