We didn't spend a whole lot of money on our wedding, but I did want everyone to have dinner at the reception (because we had people in from as far away as Tasmania and Paraguay, but mostly from other states). So I skimped on our wedding rings and we decided to forego our honeymoon so that we could. And I don't regret it at all.
And I know that people are complaining about the "damage to the environment", but come on...no one else's wedding does that? With the pollution of cars, airfare and diamonds usually involved, others don't have clean hands, either.
