I would very much like to write on the flora of Middle-earth, the similarities and differences with "our" earth's flora. Is this too general, and is anyone else writing about this? Thanks!! I'm really looking forward to this! Edit: As an ethnobotanist, I think I'd like to include ethnobotany of the plants of Middle-earth; how plants were used by people for food, tools, clothing, shelter, etc.
'"Never laugh at live dragons, Bilbo you fool!" he said to himself, and it became a favourite saying of his later, and passed into a proverb.'
