Gríma's father was named by Tolkien in The Lord of the Rings; his name was Gálmód and he was presumably a Man of Rohan. It would hardly be possible for Alfrid to relocate to Rohan under a new name, marry and sire a son after he is killed by Troll in the Battle of Five Armies.
