In the prologue there is this amazing creepy scene with the Orcs in the woods and the eyes of one of them shines like the eyes of a wicked cat.
I think they do use torches in the books, don't they?

We all have our hearts and minds one way or another invested in these books and movies. So we all mind and should show the necessary respect.
