The LOTR Cast Reunion: TORN folk, my old friends, this was a night to remember.

Thank you, Altaira, for reminding me that I hadn't yet watched it. It was the perfect thing to enjoy on a cozy, rainy, Wellington Saturday night. I could never ever have imagined twenty years ago I would be here. How strange is life!
And watching this video was like having the Zoom meeting myself with all those lovely people. Such camaraderie and friendship among them. Such laughter and tears. That film trilogy became a huge part of my life when it came out - the films and the music and the landscapes and the characters. I find the dialog still popping out of my mouth in conversation.  Yes, I did watch the dvd's obsessively and was delighted to be immersed in a visual Middle-earth I had truly believed no one could conjure. I was happy to have been proved wrong.
Perhaps it's time for another LOTR marathon, you think?  It's great to be among you who still get that.
